Market Orientation Missions

Welcome to the Trade Promotion Academy’s module on export market orientation missions. In this module, we will explore orientation missions (OM) and the value they can bring to Business Support Organizations (BSOs), their member SMEs, as well as associated stakeholders.

As you will see, OMs have both short and long-term goals. In the short term, they aim to provide participants with as much personal market experience as possible, in a relatively quick period of time. This is true for both your BSO itself, as well as your stakeholders. In the long term, they aim to enable a BSO’s members to establish a sustainable export business in a foreign market.
